U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Charly Carreon, a trumpet player with the 2nd Marine Division Band, performs taps during a memorial on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Aug. 6, 2022. The memorial was conducted in remembrance of the 13 service members who were killed last year during the 26 August 2021 bombing at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan.
