U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Jake Maine, a saxophone musician with Headquarters and Service Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, plays a solo for the families and friends of the new Marines of Hotel Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, during the company motivational run event at MCRD San Diego, California, Nov. 7, 2024. The company motivational run is a three-mile cadence run conducted around the Depot and is the last physical training event the Marines will conduct before they graduate from MCRD San Diego.
