Marine Corps Fleet Bands perform at ceremonies, parades, festivals, professional sporting events, concerts, and other public events across the United States and around the world. Marine Corps Fleet Bands entertain and educate their audiences; inspire patriotism and represent American values through music; and represent the discipline and professionalism of the Marine Corps itself.

U.S. Marines, attached to the 1st Marine Division Band, and U.S. Navy, attached to Navy Band Southwest, march in the San Francisco Italian Heritage Parade during San Francisco Fleet Week 2024 October 13. SFFW, now in its 43rd iteration, is a time-honored sea service celebration that allows citizens of the Bay Area to witness today’s maritime capabilities firsthand. Nearly 2,500 Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen will showcase their capabilities and equipment, participate in various community service events, and enjoy the hospitality of the Bay Area during the event.
