U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Kenenna Akamelu, a trombone instrumentalist with the 1st Marine Division Band, plays the trombone at the opening ceremony of the 47th annual Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Highland Festival in Estes Park, Colorado, Sept. 10, 2023. The festival celebrates Scottish and Irish heritage through a variety of traditional athletic games, jousting competitions, music and dancing.
