The 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing Band Quartet plays at the 2023 Salute to the Veterans, an event that shares thanks to active-duty service members, veterans, and their families for their service and sacrifices, at the Havelock Tourist and Event Center, North Carolina, May 9, 2023. The event boasted veterans and active-duty service members from Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, Coast Guard Station Fort Macon, and key members from the Havelock community. Salute to the Veterans is hosted by the Havelock Chamber of Commerce to strengthen ties between MCAS Cherry Point, Coast Guard Station Fort Macon, and the air stations neighboring communities.
