Chief Warrant Officer 2 Nathan D. Doggett
Operations Officer
Marine Corps Band Program

Chief Warrant Officer 2 Nathan Doggett is currently serving as the Operations Officer, Marine Corps Fleet Music, where he oversees service-level strategic music outreach of the Marine Corps Fleet Bands on behalf of the Director of Communication, Communication Directorate, Headquarters Marine Corps.
 
CWO2 Doggett holds a Bachelor’s in Music Education from Western Illinois University and a Master’s in Arts Administration from the University of Kentucky.
 
CWO2 Doggett enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 2013 and completed recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California, and Marine combat training at Camp Pendleton, California. He completed the Basic Music Course in 2014 at the Naval School of Music in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
 
CWO2 Doggett served as a tuba instrumentalist in the following Fleet Marine Bands: III Marine Expeditionary Force Band (2014-2016). As do all Fleet Marine musicians, CWO2 Doggett served in a variety of musical ensembles, collateral duty, and leadership roles, to include Platoon leadership.
 
CWO2 Doggett served as an instructor at the Naval School of Music (2018-2022).
 
CWO2 Doggett graduated from The Basic School in 2023 and served as the Director of the 2d Marine Aircraft Wing Band (2023-2025).
 
CWO2 Doggett attended the Unit Leader Course (2017). His awards include: the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3rd award), and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3rd award).
