Assistant Enlisted Conductor
Sergeant Hannah E. Ford
Sgt Ford is originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado. Upon graduating with a bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of Northern Colorado in 2018, she enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. She completed recruit and combat training in December 2018 and immediately reported to the Quantico Marine Corps Band as a clarinet instrumentalist.

Following her promotion to Lance Corporal in March 2019, she was selected as Marine of the Quarter and subsequently Marine Corps Base Quantico’s 2019 Marine of the Year. In March of 2020, she was meritoriously promoted to Corporal. As a Corporal she served as the clarinet section leader, was a member of the woodwind quintet, and served as a library clerk. Sgt Ford also became a Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor and was promoted to Sergeant during her time in the Quantico Marine Corps Band.

In May of 2022, Sgt Ford reported to the Marine Forces Reserve Band in New Orleans, Louisiana. Sgt Ford now serves as Enlisted Conductor and clarinet instrumentalist. She has performed across the Eastern United States and in Europe, and her personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Navy Achievement Medal with one gold star.
