Chief Warrant Officer 5 Wire is currently serving as Head, Marine Corps Fleet Music, where she directs and oversees Occupational Field and Program management matters, as well as service-level strategic music outreach of the Marine Corps Fleet Bands on behalf of the Director of Communication, Communication Directorate, Headquarters Marine Corps.

Chief Warrant Officer 5 Wire enlisted in the US Marine Corps in 1993 and completed Recruit Training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina. She subsequently completed the Basic Music Course in 1994 at the Armed Forces School of Music in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Chief Warrant Officer 5 Wire served as an instrumentalist in the following Fleet Marine Bands: III Marine Expeditionary Force Band (1994-1996); 2nd Marine Division Band (1996-1998); US Marine Corps Forces Pacific Band (1998-2002); and Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island Band (2002-2005). As do all Fleet Marine musicians, Chief Warrant Officer 5 Wire served in a variety of music, collateral duty, and leadership roles, to include Platoon leadership.

Chief Warrant Officer 5 Wire attended the Unit Leader Course at the Naval School of Music from January to August 2005. Upon graduation and selection, she was assigned as the Enlisted Conductor of the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Band (2005-2007). During her tour, Chief Warrant Officer 5 Wire deployed as the Security Platoon Commander of the Tactical Air Command Center, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, on Camp Al Asad in 2006.

Chief Warrant Officer 5 Wire graduated the Basic Recruiter Course in 2007 and was assigned as the Musician Technical Assistant for the 9th Marine Corps Recruiting District from 2007-2010.

Chief Warrant Officer 5 Wire graduated from The Basic School in 2010 and served as the Principal Director / Officer-In-Charge of the following Fleet Marine Corps Bands: Twentynine Palms Marine Band (2010-2011); Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego Band (2011-2015); and 1st Marine Division Band (2015-2018). Chief Warrant Officer 5 Wire is a graduate of Expeditionary Warfare School and US Marine Corps Command and Staff College, Blended Seminar Programs.
